A few people on etsy.. Friendship bracelets

I have come across a ton of amazing artists on etsy, and really nice to boot. But I am so sick of seeing threads on ETC. where people post nothing but insults and sheer stupidity. I am not going to name names, or call out. But it just seems that every time i log onto etsy, someone is just plain mean. I remember when I first joined etsy in 2006.. wow. its been that long? shit. i came across some of the sweetest people who helped me find my way on etsy and didn't mock me for being new and having stupid questions. Now I see people ask the simplest questions and they get pushed out of the way and buried. A few weeks back someone posted a list about things not to do on etsy to get hearted. Well they said that you should never sell friendship bracelets, or something about you know you are new to etsy when you sell friendship bracelets. Fuck you, if you can make some awesome friendship bracelets, go for it. I see the person deleted the post, but it still made me angry. Friendship bracelets were the first piece of jewelry I could make, and it made me feel mocked, like friendship bracelets weren't a real thing. I felt like when you post, perhaps you should think about what you say because there are a lot of young kids out there, still learning and when you say selling or making something like friendship bracelets aren't good enough to get hearted, it makes you look like a bitch, and maybe you are. I do realize they say that it is a joke, but seriously... it wasn't very funny.

Here is are two sellers on etsy who makes AMAZING friendship bracelets, I envy!

These are just two of so many amazing artists on Etsy that seller friendship bracelets, and they are having major success, so that goes to show that even if you sell something as meager as friendship bracelets you will still have success.

Ok ive kinda gotten into a nail polish kick as of late, ok an obsession. I was in Washington DC union station last week, visiting my friend , t-dawg, in Virgina, and since I had the dreaded layover, i went shopping around, where I discovered they had a http://www.douglascosmetics.com/

Of course I had to go in, they had essie for 3 bucks! Where the hell do you find essie so cheap. Well, to end this one off I ended up buying a few bottles. So this week I am wearing: A-list

Gorgeous color! It may be my new favorite red. I also bought this beauty of a color.
This pic isnt mine it belongs to: http://www.beautyjunkiesunite.com/WP/2009/01/19/review-essie-winter-collection-fill-the-gap-smoothies/

Ok what is with the mattes, I need the glossy, shiny, shimmer of my nail laquars. Whenever I see a matte nail polish, all I can think of is a person painted their nails late at night, and went to bed, leaving their sheet imprinted on their nails. I just dont feel the love a lot of bloggers are about them. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. One matte collection that made me cringe was the new ones from OPI:
This pic take from the awesome scrangie shows the mattes, now she takes amazing pics but I just love russian navy in all its shimmery beauty:

The usual suspects

I thought Id make a post about things I usually wear or tend to wear often and my daily habits. I know there was a tag going around with something similar but I never got tagged.. Boo.
First off, hair style:

I tend to be super lazy in the morning, you know brush teeth, wash face.. blah. But my hair is usually styled like this, a kinda messy tight low bun:
Something very similar to this, except my hair isnt as shiny and pretty, haha. For the first part of the morning I tend to stay in my pjs, mostly because A- im not going anywhere, and B- Im that lazy-
They are most of the time, Nick and Nora Pjs:

Super Sexy
When I do decide to get dressed, which is about 2pm.. I go for the jeans and t-shirt combo, which is even more sexy then the pajamas. Now I cant afford true religions or seven jeans, so most of my jeans are either old navy or target. Because honestly life is short and paying 200$ for a pair of jeans is fucking insane. The tees are wear are most of the time are 3/4 quarter shirts or something like this:
paired with what they call a boyfriend cardigan, why they call it this I have no effing clue:

I guess you could say it looks a bit manish.. I wish I could be that girl who wears skirts and dresses without worrying if someone is going to make some kind of off hand immature comment. I think it stems from my family and how outspoken they are without even realizing it. It makes me the kind of person know who wants to follow the trends and blend in, but makes me feel like an imitation of others. Whenever I open up a magazine, I find myself looking at what make-up or certain styles are in right now, and having a momentary sense of glee when I already happen to own a certain lipgloss that is so trendy or expensive, to be like "oh im so instyle, Ive been wearing that lipgloss for agesss. Of course soon after I get this pang of guilt, because I spout to my friends and family about doing your own thing and here I am not even following my own advice. Ok this blog went in a whole different direction then I intended for it to go.. ah well. Ok, back on subject. One thing I have to say, Cardigans are so freaking comfortable. I mean what the hell, I love them. I own about 10 of them, in different colors, and I wear them to death. Even in the gross August not as nice as July weather they we WERE having, I still wear them. I know, I sweat my ass off, but it is so worth it. First off, I hate my arms. It seems very shallow to say, but I do.

and shoes:

FLATS

Im all about the flats. The end.
